The truth is that we are living in tough times.
As we speak there are people who have lost their beloved ones. There are others who have no source of income. There are others who are thinking of where to get school fees for their children next term. Basically, no one is immune to tough times or failures. Life is a series of tough and good times. Wars hunger, increasing prices, diseases, and uncertainty. And no one is immune to hard times. Even Jesus Christ while on earth endured tough times.
It is key that we alter the way we perceive failure. Many people’s lives have been shattered because they have viewed themselves as failures. We must evaluate our failures and learn from them. In his book failing forward, John Maxwell gives various examples of successful people who endured failure but went on to become world changers for example Thomas Edison. As a nation, we must inspire people never to give up on themselves. For as long as you are alive you still have a chance to improve your circumstances.

In the end, no one is immune to failure. Even the president of the United States is criticized. The key issue is to embrace failure and accept it as part of life. We must learn from the failure and become better people. The only people who do not fail are those who do and risk nothing.
