yes-i-plough-the-fields-of-words-that-is-my-bounty

Yes, I plough the fields of Words, that is my bounty.

I love my Garden, I love my Pen.

I farm with my pen and farm from my heart.

I have embraced who I am, a farmer with a Pen.

A pen in the sea of lilies with natured words, I write.

A writer, like a farmer, I toil each day,

In fields of words, sweating all the way.

As I plant my thoughts, like seeds in potent soil,

hoping that the words, like crops, will start to uncoil.

A pen in the hand,  I plough breaking the ground,

As ink flows freely, and ideas abound.

Nurturing phrases, like the sun and rain,

In hopes that meaning will sprout and gain.

I like a farmer tends to every need,

Crafting words with loving heed.

And weeding out errors, like unwanted pests,

And watch as stories grow, their very best.

And I also like a farmer, I eagerly wait for the harvest time,

A bounty of emotions, finely sealed.

Words ripe with wisdom, tales of joy and strife,

I write and  like a farmer, I bring forth life.

So next you read a story, don’t forget,

The writer’s journey, toil, and sweat.

For in their words, a harvest rich and true,

A writer, like a farmer, gives to you.
