Most times when I don’t understand life, I write, when I am burdened, I write, when I have questions I write. I write my soul; I write to heal my soul. Even when I am happy, excited, I write. In 2012, I was in a dilemma; I was asking myself a lot of questions; I had no answer. I wrote this beautiful poem that guides me when I am in doubt of my destiny. It reminds me always I am a SEED.

The Original ”I am a Seed (2012): Explore the roots of the poem, born in a moment of dilemma, questioning destiny.

“One thing for sure is, I am a SEED. I might be small, I might be dry, I might be trampled upon, buried in the dark, but don’t forget I am a SEED.

I am a seed; I have seen; I have blossomed; I have fallen; I have dried, but I am a SEED.

I am a SEED. I don’t seem to have life, but within me, there is amazing strength, will and Power to grow again and again. I am a SEED.

I will grow to multiply my seed, I will grow to rise from the dead, I will grow to rise from my ashes, I will grow from the shadows of darkness where I was buried, I will grow to reflect my TRUE SELF, I am a SEED.

Don’t underestimate me, don’t play with my destiny, don’t engulf me with fear and despair. I am a SEED. I will rise again, again and again. That is my destiny, that is my life. I AM A SEED.”

It’s twelve years later, and I face a block. My mind is in a state of freeze again. And then as I look up into my achieves I find this… Poem which I have now recreated… I AM A SEED. I hope as you read this, it will not only galvanise your soul, but also your spirit. Remember… YOU ARE A SEED.

 A Timeless Echo (2024 Recreation):

In the complexity of existence, one thing for sure is–I am a SEED. I might be small, I might be dry, I might be trampled upon, buried in the echoes of darkness, but don’t forget, “I am a SEED.”

I have borne witness to the life’s delicate flow. Blossoming, falling, drying, yet within an unwavering stance. But I am a SEED, pulsating with the silent strength within me.

Sometimes I may perceive failure as lifeless, yet within me, an incredible force resides  — a will, power, and strength that silently abides. I am a SEED. I will defy the surface where my essence hides.

I will grow and multiply, a destiny etched in my core, to rise from the slumber of death, reborn from the ashes and shadows, where darkness was my home. I am a SEED. I will reflect my true self.

Do not underestimate me, don’t play with my destiny, don’t engulf me with fear and despair, my destiny is not a game, I am a SEED, destined to rise, an indomitable claim that is my life. I AM A SEED.

I will arise again and again, echoing through time, in the rhythm of destiny, in life’s intricate rhyme. For I am a SEED, a testament to resilience, sublime. I am a SEED, bound to rise–that is my life, that is my paradigm.

I hope you take courage in whatever challenge you are facing today. Keep alive and keep dreaming. YOU ARE A SEED AND SO I AM.
