I escape with a pen. For years the pen has been my escape. I have traveled thousands of miles with my pen. My pen has never bothered to ask why or where too? I just escape with my pen.

A pen has been my solace, my comfort, and my world of creation when l don’t understand life or people, I escape with my pen.

I have created a world of my own with my pen. I write, I cry, I laugh, I mourn, I mock, I watch, I listen, I dream, I tell, I give, and I do so much more with my pen. I escape with my pen.

My pen is my lover, my soul-search, my partner in crime, my partner in creating the world we dream and want. I escape with my pen.

Sometimes we travel far, other times so near, most times in the worlds we don’t know but we create. I escape with my pen.

My pen my companion always! We have escaped too many destinies together. We walk, we run, we pause, we climb, we hesitate, and we overtake. I escape with my pen. Oh did I say with my book too…! and sometimes a cup of coffee…!
