Good Friday – Made with PosterMyWall (1)

Good Friday is a Christian holiday that is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday.

Its a commemoration of the love of God for man. For God so love to the World through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to save the world. Man became a partaker of this free divine mercy on good Friday. Receiving what he was not worth off, receiving redemption and salvation through the sacrifice at the Cross.

Why is Good Friday called “good”. Because of the death of Jesus’– death of God’ death of the son of God’ death of death’ on the cross. The most significant amazing sacrifice for the sins of man. It’s the only hope for humanity to have eternal life. Good Friday, therefore, is a time for reflection, repentance, and gratitude for this sacrifice.

As we meditate upon the wonders of good Friday, remember the cross on Good Friday. And I want to assure you whatever is happening in your life, however much you can deny Christ. He can never deny you, nor forsake you. His love is forever Internal. The Cross is love manifest. Receive Christ, receive his love and partake of the his Eternal glory. You are forever loved my friend. Amen.

The Cross on Good Friday

A symbol of suffering, a symbol of love,
The Cross on Good Friday, raised high above.
A reminder of the sacrifice made,
The debt of sin, forever paid.

On this day, we remember the pain,
The weight of the cross, the mocking and shame.
The agony felt, the blood that was shed,
The precious life willingly bled.

Yet through it all, there was a plan,
To save the world, to redeem every man.
A love so great it could not be contained,
A love that conquered death, sin, and pain.

So let us bow before the Cross today,
And thank the One who made the way.
For on this day, we see the cost,
And the depth of love that was not lost.

The Cross on Good Friday, a symbol of grace,
A love so amazing, we cannot replace it.
May we never forget the sacrifice made,
And the power of the Cross that forever stayed.

Let us pray

Eternal Father, Eternal love, through your Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we come to you in this season of love manifest. We come to you with stained life, sinfulness, nakedness, short-comings, and shamefulness. We come to partake through Jesus our Lord your love and grace.  We come to receive redemption, salvation and Mercies that are ever new every day.

As we celebrate Good Friday, remind us oh Lord of who we are in You. Remind us oh Lord of our purpose in You. Remind us oh Lord the power of the cross. Remind us oh Lord, that man is an Eternal being. Give us hope in the soulless world. Give us Joy in the world that denies us Peace. Give us wisdom in the world that promotes vanity. Give us understanding in world that glorifies self.

Teach us to live by the power of Holy-Ghost and show us always the amazing love of the Cross.

Amen
